About the Event
**As this event requires full vaccination to attend, we will not be requiring masks, but people are welcome to wear them if they so choose.
Check-in will run from 6-8:30 PM at Fogarty Hall (the big center building), please come with your weapon for safety checking. Do not set up a tent or claim a bunk without first checking in! The pre-game meeting will run at 9:30 PM, in the same building, and is mandatory.
If you are planning to arrive after 9:30 on Friday or leave before 2 PM on Sunday, please notify us at staff@eraschronicles.com so that we can both plan for your presence at the game, and figure out how best to allow for you to unpack late, or pack up early! If you must leave while at the game, whether temporarily or for the rest of the event, you must come to the staff center and let a manager know. Checking out and handing over your bag of props is also mandatory. Cars are not allowed on-site during game hours unless by direct permission of the General Managers. This includes before game-off is called on Sunday.
- A map of the site is available here.
Food is self-provided. Three kitchens will be available for use and are equipped with a gas range, oven, refrigerator, sink, and prep area. Kitchens are a privilege, please be considerate of others, clean up any mess made during your personal food preparation, and label any food placed in the refrigerators. Time slots to prepare meals will be handled by the tavern coordinators prior to the event on our community groups.
Sleeping arrangements have several options. Your ticket includes a bed in the two game-provided lodges, which are equipped with metal-frame bunks and camp mattresses. The lodges are heated via wood stove, with wood provided. You may also opt to tent. Period canvas tents, or modern tents with approved coverings, are considered in-game spaces and can be set up within the play area of the game (with staff direction on location). Strictly modern tents may be set up in a separate area and will be considered out-of-character. Single bathrooms and single-room showers are available on site.
If you would like more private accommodations, the site also has two-person mini-cabins, four-person cabins, and eight-person cabins. You and whoever you choose to share the cabin with will split the camp’s rental fee. Please contact staff via e-mail for details on pricing and availability. Payment for these accommodations will be handled either: in cash at the game, or via a second round of ticketing (including Wix's 3% surcharge), to be purchased by only one of the occupants. We are working on making Venmo available in the future.
We ask that everyone sleeping in an in-game area:
- Make an effort to keep the space looking clean and in-game.
- Store electronics and other modern devices out of sight during the hours of play.
- Keep modern bedding and luggage covered by a sheet or blanket, or under your bed.
- Decorate your space as you are able!
Not following guidelines may result in the area being designated as out-of-game by staff and will forfeit overnight skill refreshes.
Tickets cover your lodging at Camp Karoondinha and the running of the game. In the event that you can't attend after registration, we ask that you e-mail staff immediately. Ticket refunds (excluding any cabin fees) are available up to 2 weeks before the event. If you are unable to attend, you may sell your ticket with staff's permission, up until the Wednesday before the event. Please review our full refund, resell, and cancellation policies.
By Wix.com's (our host) standards, we must state that the target audience of this event is roleplayers who are 18 years are older, and the objective is an immersive interactive theater event for all participants.
